AxIT Strength Testing

Elite level technology to our community for pain relief and injury prevention

With our advanced muscle strength and performance testing technology we can find out exactly how well your muscles are performing.

We then compare that to normal levels based on your age and speak to you about how it relates to your pain, injury and performance.

This technology has previously been only available to elite sports teams but is now available to you, only in the Barossa Valley at Tanunda Physio & Health.

If you’re not measuring your guessing.

What will it tell us?

AxIT measurements and reports will tell us

  • Strength data: peak force generated
  • Power data: Rate of force development (how fast the muscle works)
  • Landing forces

These are then used to

  • Identify imbalances from side to side
  • Compare to normal levels for your age
  • Compare to other muscle groups in the area
  • Track how you are progressing on your exercise journey toward your goals.
How do we know what is normal?

Muscle strength is well researched and there is considerable data on what is achievable in “normal” pain free groups at various ages. The AxIT software builds these comparisons in to its software for easy reference.

We also use our knowledge of additional research to further put your data into context in relation to your injury

Not just for athletes!

This will add context and value to all people with pain.

Reduced strength and function in muscles has a role in every problem we see.

You will be amazed at the information we can show you and how that will help you better understand your problem and what you can do to overcome it!
