A BIT ABOUT ME

MY JOURNEY

I grew up in Gawler and went to Trinity College from reception to year 12. I was a competitive swimmer from age 12, swimming at both Starplex and Norwood clubs. I was state champion in all three (50m, 100m and 200m) from age 14-17.

FAMILY

I have two sisters, one a few years older and one over 10 years younger!

I grew up in Gawler with my mum, and my dad lives in North Adelaide where I moved to while at university.

MY FAVOURITE TEAM

I love going to AFL games at the Adelaide Oval, especially when Port Adelaide are playing of course!

The atmosphere is like no other. I have been a member with my dad since I was a little girl and try my best to get to every home game.

GUILTY PLEASURE

Any sweet! I have a sweet tooth for sure.

FAVOURITE LOCAL RESTAURANT / CAFÉ

How could it not be Barossa Browns Donuts?! I mean the question above makes this quite obvious haha

FAVOURITE WAY TO STAY ACTIVE

I love going to the gym for weight training and long walks. Barossa Goldfields is one of my favourite tracks.

FAVOURITE PLACE TRAVELLED TO

I love travelling! Choosing one is way too hard.

Internationally I have been to New York and LA back when I was a teenager, and also Bali a few times.

I do love seeing the rest of what Australia has to offer though. A road trip around Australia one day is definitely on the cards for me and my partner, Samuel, in the future.

SOMETHING THAT MAY SURPRISE YOU

I really enjoyed working hospitality during school and uni! I think I will miss it!

ME THE PHYSIO

WHY I CHOSE TO BE A PHYSIO

I have a passion for sport, fitness and health. Being able to help people overcome injuries whether they are little niggles affecting performance or chronic affecting daily living, I want to be able to help.

WHY I LOVE BEING A PHYSIO

Helping people become the best version of themselves is what I will strive for with all my patients. I love all the different conditions that we get to treat and help, it is so rewarding.

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT?

I want to know everything that you feel comfortable with telling me- every component could be a contributing factor, so let’s unpack it to help get you feeling optimal.

TOP TIPS

Best way to keep active and healthy:

Anything that works for you is best. Enjoy your movement and it’ll make the good habit stronger. Strength training, walking, pilates or yoga, find what works for you.

Movement Tip

Park further away at the shopping centre or go for a 5+ minute walk in your lunch break. Small things add ups!

My core message

Move today, feel better tomorrow!

Guiding quote:

Be proud of what you have, while you work for what you want.
